About that crushing disappointment

So, I got some news about something that I hoped would pan out but didn't. It sucks, but nothing can be done about it. Time to move on. I have to admit, if it wasn't for my paper journal and a good pen, I don't know how I would have gotten through the past 12 months (and counting). I don't know how I would have gotten through the past 16 years, actually. Yeah, that's how long I've been keeping a journal of some kind-- since 1993. Makes you feel old, doesn't it? Just talk to me in 2025 and see how I feel about it then.

Time for more coffee.
